Portugese National Champion Shefaro's Yasmin al Din Dear Sherry is with great pleasure that brings you news of our Yasmin. She become National Champion on 20 Febr with 3-CAC, 1 CAC-QC and an excellent in the monograph.. It was with great excitement and pride that I saw her climb the podium with my husband.
Shefaro's Yasmin Al Din was 1st BOB (Best of Breed) under Jean Jacques Dupas (FR) and 2nd of 10 Group under Jean Jacques Dupas (FR) at Caldas National Show. Alexandra
While Shefaro Saluki Yasmin was winning her National Championship in Portugal, Shefaro Greyhound "Fenix" was winning at the NOFCA National Open Field Coursing Association's most prestigious event being held on the west coast. The Grand Course is the largest OFC event in North and South America with people coming from all over to compete. The Grand Course is by invitation only and its no surprise Fenix was qualified! For two days Fenix ran with the country's top open field coursing Greyhounds and was "High score Greyhound" for the breed portion of the event earning him 40 Championship points.
The format is run by elimination and Fenix not only made it to the final round in top place but was also high score greyhound for the mixed portion of the competition in the finals.
Overall he came in with a two way tie for second place at the Grand Course with more than fifty of the country's top performance sighthounds competing over the course of three days for top dog. It also earned him another 15 championship points and his Coursing championship earning him the suffix CC.
